Quality of life
The city has maintained pole position for two consecutive years for being the best to live-in in India on the Jaanagraha index for just the right mix of people, cultures and commerce. Planning & development authorities remain shy from too much too soon, unlike most top-tiered cities in India.
Investment and strategic value
About 300,000 people are firmly expected to move into Trivandrum given the rise of greenfield projects as IT & related industry global giants are setting up base in Kazhakkoottam a few kilometers away, making it ideal for corporate executives and expat communities who expect a higher standard of living. Fortunately ,the City remained unnerved by the recent floods that took most of Kerala by storm. In fact demand in recent months have significantly increased as clients look at safer and locations above sea level.
